3rd Match : Lil Creepers face the Grog-Swillers at Landlubbers Stadium (Sponsored By Captain Mogren) Written by Armando Blackquill Avast mateys! Welcome to another thrilling installment of the Sartosa Grog-Swillers match reports. Our plucky ogres have yet to win a match within their conference but there are hopes that in the upcoming match they will manage to make some headway: so far the Grog-Swillers have faced teams that could almost match them strength to strength and crunch to crunch, but the next fixture for them is against the Lil Creepers, a team hailing from the far orient but with hopefully weaker players that the Grog-Swillers can smash through and thus make them regret ever stepping in Landlubbers Stadium. There had been some team training going on with the Grog-Swillers, with two of the Gnoblars showing some aptitude towards leaping and jumping, although Coach Coachem didn't really know how useful a leaping gnoblar would actually be. Lil Creepers: Analysis The Lil Cree...

Match 2: The Grog-Swillers Visit the Bad Moonz at Split-Grin Stadium Written by Armando Blackquill Avast mateys! This week, our group of loveable boneheads made their way to Split-Grin Stadium in order to face the Bad Moonz, one of the flashiest teams around. It was destined to be a real melee of a match, with both teams having some heavy hitters on their line up: with none of the Ogres (or for that matter, the Gnoblars) worse for wear after their bout against the Nurgle team Papa Pow (although even the relatively unhygienic Ogres had to have a shower to get the stench off them after that match), there was a lot of hope amongst the Sartosa die-hards that the Grog-Swillers would bounce back after their loss. Bad Moonz: Analysis The Bad Moonz are a relatively new team, much like the Grog-Swillers, but it's clear that they have gone all-out in kitting their players. There are rumours that their owners have a veritable horde of teefs (as the Orc like to call their currency), and it r...

Excerpt from the SSS: Papa Pow @ Sartosa Grog-Swillers

Start of the Season: Papa Pow Face The Grog-Swillers at Landlubbers Stadium (Sponsored By Captain Mogren) Written by Armando Blackquill Avast mateys and welcome to the first of many fixtures within the Sartosa Sports Sage, where we will be charting the journey of our home-town ne'er-do-wells, the Sartosa Grog-Swillers, as they go through the troubled waters of the Dragon Bowl League. Having been drafted within the Exiles Conference, as well befits their piratey-nature, their first fixture was poised to be against Papa Pow, a team full of nurgle worshippers, with a want for blood and mayhem only matched by the incredible, fetid odour that their team (and fans!) produce. Papa Pow: Analysis With a name inspired by their dear father, Papa Pow hail from a swamp near the chaos wastelands of the north, and their fame (and stink) follows them where-ever they go. The players themselves have a fishy nature to them, although all come with a variety of bizarre mutations to boot! With their nau...

Excerpt From The Sartosa Sports Sage: Grog-Swillers are Swilling Again! Avast, mateys! Rumours that the Grog-Swillers will hang up their swashbuckling days and will once again return to the gridiron seem to have been true all along: after an unfortunate accident where their ship sank just outside of port (who would have thought that a pirate ship entirely crewed by Ogres would sink so easily!), the Grog-Swillers have decided that their future resides within the tumultous orgy of violence and sport that we know as Blood Bowl. And luckily enough, the Sage was able to have an exclusive interview with their former-Captain-now-Coach, Coachem Badleh! So, Coach Coachem, when was it that you decided that the Grog-Swillers would be picking up the pigskin once again? When boat sank, water touching feet. Decided we not cut out for pirating, me decided that punching people better. I think that there are many fans in Sartosa that will be glad to see you in the Sartosa Stadium, what do you have...
